Dear Phil,
Thank you ever so much for your invitation to the class reunion of 1956. Time rushes on
and 40 years have clipped by. I am sorry that I will be unable to attend. My physical make-up is
not too good. I am hardly able to walk without great help. The body is wearing out. I have a
serious case of arthritis and am in constant pain. I rarely go out as walking is more than difficult. I
feel sorry that I cannot attend. Do give my best regards to the class. I do hope you all have a very
happy reunion.
God bless you all and just give me a remembrance in your prayers.
Love and Best Wishes

Dear Phil,
Thank you for your kind invitation to the 40th reunion of the class of 1956 at Annunciation
Church in Elma on April 27. I regret that I will be unable to attend.
I have already received an invite from Msgr.
Tom Maloney and have responded to him with the same regret. Please convey my best wishes to
all the members of the class and congratulations on celebrating the 40th anniversary of your
graduation from Holy Family. I have many fond memories of those days with Msgr. Nash,
Fathers Walker and McCormick, all of whom have been called by the Lord.
My best to all. Will be remembering all of you at my Mass on that day.
Sincerely in Christ,
Rev. Msgr. Robert C. Schwab
